Helping Students Find Their Path to Medicine — Since Day One

Every year, thousands of bright, hardworking students across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and the Northeast dream of becoming doctors. But not everyone gets a seat in an Indian medical college — and that's where we come in.

We are Overseas Medical Study, a Patna-based education consultancy built around one simple idea: no deserving student should have to give up on their MBBS dream just because of limited seats back home.

How It All Started

Over 25 years ago, we noticed a pattern. Talented students who scored well in NEET but couldn't secure a seat in India were left with very few options — and even fewer people to guide them honestly. Agents were making big promises, colleges were hard to verify, and families were left confused and anxious about sending their children abroad.

We wanted to change that. So we built a consultancy that does the homework for you — verifying colleges, understanding visa processes, tracking NMC/MCI guidelines, and walking every family through the journey step by step, the way we'd want it done for our own children.

Where We Send Our Students

Over the years, we've built relationships with recognized medical universities across Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, and several other countries — always keeping NMC recognition and course quality as our non-negotiable filters.

Who We Are

Our team is led by Md Aarif Imam, Managing Director, along with a group of counsellors and support staff who've personally guided thousands of students through this process. Many of us have worked with students long enough to now be counselling their younger siblings and cousins — something we're genuinely proud of.

We're based on Boring Road, Patna, and while our office is in Bihar, our students come from all over — Ranchi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, and beyond.
