Why We Do This

Ask ten families about their experience with education consultants, and you'll probably hear at least a few horror stories — hidden fees, colleges that weren't what they were promised to be, or advisors who disappeared the moment the admission fee was paid.

We started Overseas Medical Study because we were tired of hearing those stories, and we didn't want to be another one. Everything we do — every counselling session, every college shortlist, every visa document we help file — comes back to two simple ideas: do right by the student, and never stop improving how we do it.

Our Mission

To make the path to becoming a doctor honest, clear, and achievable for every student who has the dedication for it — regardless of how limited their options may feel at home.

In practice, that means:

• Straight answers, not sales pitches. We tell students what a college, country, and course actually involves — the good and the difficult parts — before they commit.
• Verified information only. Every college we recommend is checked against NMC/NExT eligibility and recognized university status. We don't take chances with someone's future.
• Support that doesn't end at admission. From the visa stamp to the day they walk into their first lecture hall — and through every exam after — we stay involved.
• Affordability without compromise. We work to find options that fit a family's real budget, not just the most expensive path.

Our Vision

We want to be the reason a student from a small town in Bihar, Jharkhand, or Bengal doesn't have to abandon their dream of practicing medicine — and the reason their family sleeps a little easier while their child studies thousands of kilometers from home.

Looking ahead, we're working toward:

• Expanding our network of verified, quality medical universities across more countries.
• Building stronger post-admission support systems, especially around NExT exam preparation, so our students don't just graduate — they come home ready to practice.
• Becoming a name that students recommend to each other, not because of advertising, but because of what we actually delivered for them.

What This Looks Like Day to Day

We're not chasing numbers. We're not trying to be the biggest consultancy in Bihar. We're trying to be the one families trust enough to hand over one of the biggest decisions of their child's life — and then prove, year after year, that the trust was well placed.
